google’s search wiki: seo coming to an end ?

Google announced a new user oriented tool called Search Wiki, in short lines, it was developed to let the user choose which sites he/she prefers to have on top of the search result pages given a certain keyword. This action goes against previous google’s search results policy, where the websites that appeared better ranked where those who really deserved it. If that was targeted to the final user, should we go for or against this new tool…one way or the other, it was already difficult to “show” google that the websites you were working on were better than the competition, now you not only have to fight against the hilltop algorithm, but with billions of users choices for the websites you thought were useful for them.

google announced in the AdWords blog that new and improved updates will be rendered into the good old ad algorithm , this new changes will take place soon and will affect your ad/quality ratio depending on the CTR’s your ad launched during the active campaign. We believe that this will give campaign managers the option to achieve better ctr’s without the bidding carnage.

Google announced in their AdWords blog that some new improvements have been added to their ad quality algorithms. For those of you who don’t really understand the quality process of an AdWords campaign, pretty much integrates the text content of the ad, the landing page and the keywords targeted for the correspondent ad. One of the most important upgrades is that now keywords that were”inactive for search” that didn’t make it to the first page in the google search results, even if the quality of the ad was accurate, now have the chance to appear at result pages. Google will be able to evaluate keywords for any query where they may be relevant, thus providing ANY selected keyword the ability to launch the ad at the proper moment.

Everybody knows that google Adwords is leading the modern PPC slash search advertising this days, not to tell the new video-ads related jungle that is already coping major websites. In this world of organic and short term traffic, we just wanted to share a little tip most of you users have been cracking around with google AdWords, the daily budget issue. The daily budget issue actually means that increasing your daily budget will almost every time increase your impression rate (If there are no more new issues around your text ad ), chances are that if your landing page is optimized and theme related to your keyword, increasing your DB will help into achieve shorter results. Wait a minute…Be careful not to “Leave as it is” or else start considering a direct call to your bank, stating that your credit card limit is about to burn. Remember to pause or decrease the daily budget once you reached your desired click or conversions, then start again the next day. Remember the key aspect here is not to leave the campaign on its own luck. Its your call.

From June 18 to June 30, we were responsible of managing and producing the adwords campaign of a major multitudinaire event held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “Expomueble” is a place where international furniture designers and makers got together with potential clients and leads. The marketing mix had a tight online budget but here where the results: 1 of 3 people entered the event through Internet invite or campaign. 45% of the people entered the event by adwords or banner campaigns. the Adwords budget itself, was not even the 10nth percent of what was spent in TV or Mag Ads. Conclusion: You create one. We are just happy to show our clients that in proper and trained hands, good, proven and effective campaigns can be delivered using adwords. A good KEYWORD or phrase, placed in the right moment, with just the right bid… can turn your online impact into a real conversion machine.

Since we started offering our dedicated online business optimization services, very interesting projects and web related leads entered our daily maintenance schedule. Most of them web related businesses but there were also very interesting start-ups as this two: www.bizforo.com and www.mercadonic.com, both of themSpanish language oriented and Latin American targeted.

This month we have audited several UK Websites and web Projects with a 85.7% of AdWords effectiveness conversion campaigns. We had to deliver very well thought campaigns due to the Pound weight against the Argentinian Peso $, this shows that even though PPC campaigns can behave very unresponsively and expensive if handled ungratefully, dedicated efforts can bring invaluable results to your business strategy.
