A few days ago Google sent a release note for Ad Manager Administrators about the new and updated features present in the platform. For those of you who are not familiarized with this cool tool, it helps publishers of any size, to manage and build campaigns in a more accurate and ordered way. In other words, it is what lacks out of AdWords publishing tool…Here are some of the most relevant:

Line item delivery page - The new line items tab on the orders page provides a quick way for you to check on your ad operations, including order readiness, delivery status, and inventory revenue performance. View the color coded delivery bars to easily identify line item pacing information and line items at risk

Getting started made easier - Our new getting started page will help new users learn how Ad Manager works, walk through step-by-step tutorials, and explore additional Ad Manager resources. Visit this page by clicking the Getting Started link in the top and footer of your account.

Updated reporting - Your reports have become more accurate and now filter out clicks and impressions from your internal traffic.

Want to know more, feel free to check the beta platform website at: http://www.google.com/support/admanager/publisher/bin/answer.py?answer=90782

Embedded web browsers in mobile phones could actually manage to display AdWords and google related ads in websites, nothing far from that, this time publishers can display their ads targeting only mobile phones such as the iPhone and Google’s G1, carriers such as o2, verizon and others and geographic mobile locations. This new streamline might be a handful of new possibilities when it comes to persona marketing and to analyse the effectiveness of your campaign in mobile users.

Google announced a new user oriented tool called Search Wiki, in short lines, it was developed to let the user choose which sites he/she prefers to have on top of the search result pages given a certain keyword. This action goes against previous google’s search results policy, where the websites that appeared better ranked where those who really deserved it. If that was targeted to the final user, should we go for or against this new tool…one way or the other, it was already difficult to “show” google that the websites you were working on were better than the competition, now you not only have to fight against the hilltop algorithm, but with billions of users choices for the websites you thought were useful for them.

Around the most interesting things in this small black gadget, are the possibility to use google Maps with the new “Navigate through scenary”, one finger slide capabilities, integrated keyboard, tons of google aps and a fastest browsing experience. Not as ‘Visually attractive ‘as its Mac competitor, the G1 will cost around 170 USD and its being sold with Telecoms triple play packages.

Google announced in their AdWords blog that some new improvements have been added to their ad quality algorithms. For those of you who don’t really understand the quality process of an AdWords campaign, pretty much integrates the text content of the ad, the landing page and the keywords targeted for the correspondent ad. One of the most important upgrades is that now keywords that were”inactive for search” that didn’t make it to the first page in the google search results, even if the quality of the ad was accurate, now have the chance to appear at result pages. Google will be able to evaluate keywords for any query where they may be relevant, thus providing ANY selected keyword the ability to launch the ad at the proper moment.

Everybody knows that google Adwords is leading the modern PPC slash search advertising this days, not to tell the new video-ads related jungle that is already coping major websites. In this world of organic and short term traffic, we just wanted to share a little tip most of you users have been cracking around with google AdWords, the daily budget issue. The daily budget issue actually means that increasing your daily budget will almost every time increase your impression rate (If there are no more new issues around your text ad ), chances are that if your landing page is optimized and theme related to your keyword, increasing your DB will help into achieve shorter results. Wait a minute…Be careful not to “Leave as it is” or else start considering a direct call to your bank, stating that your credit card limit is about to burn. Remember to pause or decrease the daily budget once you reached your desired click or conversions, then start again the next day. Remember the key aspect here is not to leave the campaign on its own luck. Its your call.
